Rebecca Patton grew up in Los Angeles, California, always finding a way to get a camera in her hands. From her early days of bargaining minutes of piano practiced for credit towards her mom’s old film camera, everything about life was worth finding a way to capture. Throughout high school and college, a career in the creative sphere was a notion never entertained; it wasn’t until college while working two jobs, taking classes, and continuing photography as a side hobby did BECKLEY start to form.
The founding of BECKLEY in 2015 was the realization of a vision of a photography studio that lived and breathed “life, styled.” Capturing and curating moments, living to appreciate how absolutely blessed we are to live in this world.
Lead photographer and owner of BECKLEY, Becca lives in Oak Cliff, Texas with her husband Andrew and little scrappy dog Truman Capote. She enjoys her morning ritual of making stovetop espresso before the sun comes up, reading C.S. Lewis by the window, and praying with her mom before she walks into her home office to answer emails, edit photos, write blog posts, and sip Topo Chico.
